Yeji Kim the winner of the KCC UK 2017 Open Call presents her first ever solo show in the London, UK.
For this project, we assisted with exhibition design layout, light installation and focusing of light fittings. Our independent exhibition lighting design UK consultancy implemented many art lighting upgrades for the Korean Cultural Centre in London.
This Open Call exhibition program at the KCC UK provides upcoming artists from Korean origins a chance to showcase their creative art works in the competitive London art world.
Yeji Kim, winner of the KCC UK 2017 Open Call, presents her first ever solo show in the London, UK. Her art work is incredibly diverse with many styles and on many altered mediums, as she explores a sense of the virtual world. Furthermore she is motivated by the flatness of images found on social media.
Lighting Design for Art Galleries & Exhibitions
You can see from the beautiful imagery there were a large amount of items on display. We realised a bespoke lighting design scheme to suit and improve the works on display. Many visitors remarked on the great quality of the lighting in the art galleries.
These exhibition lighting design improvements were only made possible due to the trust and investment made by the Director and Exhibition Curator at the Korean Cultural Centre UK. We are delighted that our lighting design team continues to provide the KCC UK with extremely high quality art exhibition lighting.
