Art Gallery Lighting Design

Koo Jeong A. had always been passionate about art, and it was no surprise when she was awarded the KCCUK Artist of the Year 2016 award for her outstanding contribution to the world of art. Her latest exhibition, “Riptide,” was an exceptional showcase of her artistic brilliance, featuring 20 large-scale line drawings from her book project, Koo Jeong-A: R.

As visitors entered the exhibition, they were immediately struck by the intricate details and unique style of Koo Jeong A.’s art. The exhibition’s title, “Riptide,” was a metaphor for the convergence of diverse opposing forces, and Koo Jeong A. explored this theme in her artwork. Her pieces were a remarkable fusion of art, reflecting the beauty and harmony that can be created when opposing forces come together.

What made the exhibition even more exciting was the fact that Koo Jeong A. had invited a select group of international artists to react and display alongside her current pieces. The result was a vibrant collaborative effort that showcased a range of multi-disciplined artworks that complemented and contrasted with Koo Jeong A.’s pieces. To enhance the exhibition’s visual impact, our London-based design studio provided creative lighting design solutions. We worked closely with the artists to create a unique lighting design that complemented the artworks on display, resulting in an exquisite showcase that promised to be an artistic feast.

Visitors left the exhibition feeling inspired and moved by the beauty and harmony that Koo Jeong A. had created in her art. It was a true testament to her artistic brilliance and her ability to bring together diverse opposing forces to create something so exceptional.
